Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan, President opened with a thematic report, underscoring the profound global shift: the world is moving beyond pure knowledge transmission toward a data and creative economy, where knowledge must integrate with application, innovation, and practical value - not credentials alone.

Building on this premise, the report outlined prominent educational trends and the necessity of adaptation in a volatile, unpredictable landscape. The university aims to establish a solid ethical value system, foster adaptability, and prepare for crisis scenarios while repositioning the role of social sciences and humanities in the digital era.
In the context of deep AI integration, the report proposed several key recommendations: developing a responsible "professional self", establishing early ethical foundations, and promoting critical and creative thinking.
From there, discussion turned practical. Leaders addressed pressing issues such as establishing AI regulations and standards, refining assessment methods, and enhancing digital literacy for learners to effectively search for, utilize, and disseminate information.

From a governance perspective, the session highlighted the need for strategic vision and the ability to identify trends and resources. Participants further examined what effective leadership looks like in volatile conditions: the ability to read trends early, balance individual initiative with collective direction, and hold firmly to values of integrity, transparency, and accountability even as structures shift around them.
The session concluded on a clear note: amidst volatility, a clear vision and the courage to create a thriving environment will serve as the foundation for the university to adapt flexibly, maintain its core values, and excel in the digital age.
