On the morning of June 24, 2026, on the occasion of International Women in Diplomacy Day, students from the Faculty of History and International Relations had the opportunity to interact with Consuls General at the Residence of the Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City under the theme โBreaking Boundariesโ. Notably, the program welcomed the participation of 8 female Consuls General from the Netherlands, the UK, Canada, Germany, India, Thailand, Australia, and Italy. Representing the Faculty, the event saw the attendance of Dr. Nguyen Thu Trang - Director of the International Studies Program, as the head of the delegation, along with 40 female students interested in the fields of foreign affairs and international exchange.
Revolving around the theme โBreaking Boundariesโ, the Consuls General shared inspiring stories about their journeys in pursuing diplomatic careers. The open and intimate atmosphere provided students with a practical and deeper perspective on the role of women working in the diplomatic sector in particular and international relations in general.
Beyond the sharing from the diplomats, the program also featured a discussion and Q&A session covering topics related to the role of women in diplomacy and advice for young people wishing to pursue foreign affairs. The dialogue session enabled students to directly exchange and listen to lessons learned from the working experiences of the Consuls General themselves.
The Faculty of History and International Relations would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City for the warm welcome and meaningful experiences provided to the Faculty's students. At the same time, the Faculty would like to thank the 8 female Consuls General for their valuable and inspiring shares, which serve as a great source of motivation for students in their future career orientation journey.

The International Relations Program, Faculty of History and International Relations organized, and the Faculty Student Union was responsible for executing the Career Orientation Program โ๐๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐โ for students of the Faculty of History and International Relations. The program aims to provide students with practical information about job opportunities and real-world working environments through experiential visits to agencies and enterprises.
