Donating the "Library of Love" to Ly Tu Trong Elementary School – Duc Lap Commune, Lam Dong Province
On August 1, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNUHCM, in collaboration with Station 755, organized a ceremony to donate library books to Ly Tu Trong Elementary School in Duc Lap Commune, Lam Dong Province.
Representing the University, Dr. Phan Thanh Dinh – Vice President, and Ms. Bui Thu Hang – Director of the Center for Information, Library and Museum (CILM), personally attended and presented the "Library of Love." This gift included various educational titles, children's comics, skill-building books, and social knowledge resources. This practical activity aimed to spread reading culture, ignite a passion for learning, and foster intellectual development for students in the highlands.
The ceremony was not only an occasion to strengthen the partnership between the University and local authorities performing duties in the area but also demonstrated the social responsibility and community spirit of a leading higher education institution in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
The "Library of Love" serves as a symbol of knowledge, compassion, and sharing. These books are gifted with the hope that they will become companions for the students here on their journey of learning and personal growth.
The program stands as a beautiful highlight in the University's community activities, contributing to sustainable educational development and narrowing the knowledge gap between different regions.
