On the afternoon of July 22, the Center for Information, Library and Museum (CILM) of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNUHCM (USSH, VNUHCM), was honored to receive a collection of documents donated by the International Buddhist Material Translation Center and Vinh Nghiem Buddhist Bookstore. The ceremony was held as part of the "Library of Love" and "Reading with Cyclos" projects.

Representing the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Van Quyet, Vice President, expressed his deep gratitude to the partner organizations and sponsors. He stated that the gift holds not only material value but also great spiritual significance, contributing to the spread of knowledge and ethics. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Van Quyet emphasized: “The University regards the reception of this bookshelf today as a precious resource to promote community service activities.” He affirmed that this is a concrete testament to the spirit of “Whole-person, Liberal, and Multicultural Education” that the University has consistently pursued and nurtured.

Responding to the gratitude from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Van Quyet, Most Venerable Dr. Thich Van Loi, Vice Director of the International Buddhist Material Translation Center, highly commended the University's efforts to promote reading habits and literacy.
He emphasized: “We should share our achievements and life’s insights with as many people as possible.” Furthermore, he expressed pride in the tradition of preserving and promoting Vietnamese culture upheld by the intellectual community in the fields of social sciences and humanities. Most Venerable Dr. Thich Van Loi hopes that through this program, as well as current and future projects, the sharing of knowledge between individuals and the community will contribute to creating a more positive, humane, and happy life.
