On January 5, 2023, the People's Committee of Can Duoc district held a meeting with a delegation of students from the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, who visited the locality to learn about the district's characteristics, thereby promoting traditional local values to many places.

Sharing with the student delegation from the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Minh Vuong provided information on the socio-economic development of the district, the results that the Party Committee, authorities, and people in the district have united and strived to achieve in recent times, being recognized as a typical cultural model district of the province, a Hero of Labor unit in the renovation period, and is determined to successfully build a new-style rural district in 2023. In particular, the district is currently promoting its local potential and advantages in tourism development. The entire district has 14 historical and cultural relics, including 03 national-level historical and cultural relics, along with many characteristic traditional crafts.
Dr. Tran Thi Mai Nhan - Acting Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, along with lecturers and 32 international students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, expressed their joy at being warmly welcomed by the district and the good cooperation with the university, allowing students the conditions to learn about the land and people of Can Duoc, as well as the historical and cultural values that make up the rich traditions of the locality.
From January 5 to January 9, 2023, the delegation will organize 04 groups to visit locations including provincial-level historical and cultural relics such as Tan Chanh Communal House and the tomb of Nguyen Khac Tuan, Van Phuoc Communal House in My Le commune, a family producing musical instruments in Tan Chanh commune, and making fresh sausages in Can Duoc town./.
