On the morning of October 14, 2024, at Room C1-44, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Thu Duc Campus), the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies coordinated with the Faculty Youth Union and Student Association to successfully organize a seminar themed "EFFECTIVE UNIVERSITY LEARNING METHODS and SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH METHODS for students 2024." The seminar was attended by the Faculty Board, lecturers, staff, and a large number of students from various cohorts.
Through engaging stories from her own experiences as a student, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Ngoc Thu - Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, shared effective learning methods such as time management, knowledge systematization, and how to set long-term and short-term goals, etc.
In addition, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong - Vice Dean, also shared insights on scientific research methods, ranging from topic selection, proposal writing, and document collection to drafting research reports.
The seminar was also an opportunity for students to interact and ask questions directly to the Faculty leadership, fostering a strong connection between lecturers and students within the faculty.
It is certain that the practical knowledge gained from the seminar will serve as valuable preparation, helping students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies develop comprehensively throughout their learning and research process.
