On the morning of March 18th, the Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Club of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, held its March monthly event themed "Introducing Korean Makeup Styles," featuring speaker Ms. Kang Young Ran, a makeup expert with over 15 years of teaching experience in Vietnam. Lovely gifts were presented to the guests attending the program - Photo: Organizing Committee Attending the program were the two Vice Presidents of the Vietnam-Korea Club, Dr. Tran Thi Mai Nhan (Acting Head of the Department of Vietnamese Studies) and Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai (Head of the Department of Korean Studies), along with many faculty members from the Club's Executive Board, including the Center for Korean Studies, the Department of Vietnamese Studies, and the Department of Korean Studies. The program was also honored to welcome Ms. Kim Dong Hee – CEO of Donabox Health & Beauty, representing the sponsor. Notably, even in its first edition, the event attracted hundreds of Vietnamese and Korean students from universities such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and Van Lang University… Guests attending promised to meet again at future events - Photo: Organizing Committee Sharing a common love and passion for the Vietnamese and Korean languages and cultures, a large number of Korean and Vietnamese students and trainees enthusiastically participated in the conversation, makeup practice, and interaction with the speaker - makeup expert Kang Young Ran. With her impressive, extremely fluent Vietnamese communication skills, Ms. Kang Young Ran created a lively atmosphere, providing practical and useful information, and guiding participants on proper skincare and makeup techniques. The event not only provided an opportunity for Vietnamese and Korean students to interact and learn from each other, but also offered them valuable and practical knowledge about the two countries through a competition on the culture, land, and people of Vietnam and Korea. At the end of the event, the guests promised to meet again at future events.
