The Orientation Day is an annual activity of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and is the most anticipated day for new students. One of the main purposes of this day is to provide students with information about the university, academic programs, rules and regulations of the school or the faculty, and more specifically, to guide them on how to start adapting to the completely new life of an international student newly arrived in Vietnam.
Besides learning useful information, students will have the opportunity to meet the Faculty Board, academic affairs staff, academic advisors, and new friends. New students are clearly introduced to their personal journey of learning and living. Through this day, students will understand the rights and responsibilities of a student in the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, an international learning environment.
Through a quiz program with prizes, students are provided with information on where to seek necessary support in all aspects, from academics, administrative procedures, healthcare, and psychological assistance, to cultural and sports activities.

Although the information may seem dry, it is incorporated by lecturers into witty video clips or games that create excitement for students to participate and learn.
After the competition, every team received corresponding prizes.
