On June 23, 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City held the university-level doctoral thesis defense ceremony for PhD candidate Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang, a lecturer at the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies. The thesis topic belongs to the field of Vietnamese Literature: "Research on Southern Tuong scripts before 1945" supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Giang.
Attending the thesis defense ceremony were representatives of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies Board, faculty members, as well as friends and family of the PhD candidate.
The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies congratulates PhD candidate Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang on the successful defense of her doctoral thesis, congratulates her supervisor, and congratulates the Faculty on having a new doctor, contributing to the teaching and scientific research work of the Faculty and the University.
Currently, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies has 6 lecturers pursuing their doctoral studies. According to the plan, 3 PhD candidates will complete their doctoral theses in the 2023-2024 academic year.
