“He left when his hair was still green Along the way, the marching song of the warriors resounded For the country to remain peaceful And he will forever sacrifice his life” (In memory of the martyrs - Hong Phuc) The war is over, the country is at peace, but the pain and losses left by the war are irreplaceable. Therefore, through a visit to the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery, students from the Philosophy, Anthropology, Vietnamese Studies, and Spanish Literature departments lit incense sticks to commemorate the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs who bravely sacrificed themselves for the Fatherland, expressing their heartfelt respect for that great generation. Through this program, the organizers hope to spread national pride among union members and young people about the revolutionary traditions, the contributions, sacrifices, and patriotism of previous generations, helping students understand the history of the Vietnamese nation and uphold the spirit of "Drinking water, remembering the source." This demonstrates the feelings and respect of today's young generation for previous generations, expressing sincere gratitude to the national heroes who sacrificed themselves.
