LOGO OF THE FACULTY OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

The Logo and its Meaning
The logo of Faculty of International Relations is basically designed with the letters of “I” and “R”, which are an abbreviation for the English name of the field of International Relations. It is made up of several symbolic components for the connection. The letter “R” is stylized as a chain and employing a different yellow color than the rest in order to create the cohesion between the other parts of the logo. Besides that, the circle, which is the dot of the letter “I”, is stylized as the shape of an (international) globe formed from the flipping pages of a book when looking through. It can be seen as a highlight and a connection of the chain that reflects the nature of the major.
The letter “R” is also separated into the yellow and blue colors in which the yellow part is designed as a question mark (?) with the implication for the search for knowledge with the perspective of “Great enlightenment, minor enlightenment, no doubt”. Besides, the colors are mixed and come up with various color blocks; the sans serif font guarantees the elegance, modernity and dynamism. It can be used even with the black and white form that still has the high visibility and contrast when incorporated into other designs.
It is important to note that the color version of the logo is visible on a light background. When switching to a dark background, the logo should be converted into a light color.
