On the afternoon of November 14, 2024, a meeting between the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Samho Vietnam Co., Ltd. took place at room C001, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
Representing Samho Co., Ltd. were Mr. Kim KyeongYeon, Head of Administration Department, Mr. Kwak KiHyun, Head of Human Resources Department, and Ms. Ly Thi Kim Anh, Assistant. Representing the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies were members of the Faculty Board – Dr. Nguyen Huynh Lam (Vice Dean) and Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong (Vice Dean), along with 3rd-year, 4th-year, and graduating students (full-time program for international students).
During the meeting, Mr. Kwak KiHyun expressed his goodwill in creating internship opportunities for international students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies in a professional environment and recruiting them after graduation.
In response, Dr. Nguyen Huynh Lam emphasized that the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies always prioritizes cooperation with organizations and companies that have recruitment needs suitable for students' majors, and will create conditions for students to connect with potential employers. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong also shared that the Faculty will listen to feedback from recruiting companies to adjust training directions appropriately for students.
The company also had an intimate exchange with the students regarding their aspirations as well as job requirements. The company hopes that students will continue to cultivate professional knowledge and necessary skills to quickly adapt to the future business environment.
Samho Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a Korean-invested company operating in various fields, particularly the production of sports shoes for famous brands such as Nike, New Balance, Adidas, etc.
The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies always welcomes companies and enterprises to establish partnerships regarding human resources, contributing to increasing job opportunities for students after completing their bachelor's program.
