Specific conditions and standards - For young scientists, they must meet one of the following four criteria: (1) Have scientific articles published in reputable journals or conferences; (2) or have successfully registered patents; (3) or have transferred scientific or technological products; (4) or have new, promising research directions consistent with the development strategy of VNUHCM. - For leading scientists, they must meet all five following criteria: Have experience and capacity in: (1) leading a research group or laboratory; (2) presiding over scientific-technological projects; (3) having works published in reputable scientific journals or owning exclusive patents; (4) having teaching and Ph.D. supervision experience; (5) having domestic and international relationships and cooperation (being a member of international scientific-technological organizations; participating in organizing international conferences; editing, peer-reviewing articles for international journals). 3.
