
On the afternoon of April 9, 2025, a meeting took place in room C001, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, between the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and a delegation of professors from universities in Taiwan. The delegation included: 1. Prof. Chiung Wi-vun: Professor of Taiwanese Literature, Director of the Center for Vietnamese Studies, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan; 2. Prof. Peter Kang: Director of the Taiwan Institute of History, National Taiwan Normal University; 3. Prof. Chien-Jung Hsu: Vice Director of the Institute for Cybersecurity Research, Taiwan. Representing the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Ngoc Thu (Head of Faculty), Dr. Nguyen Huynh Lam (Vice Head of Faculty), and Dr. Pham Ngoc Thuy Vi. At the meeting, Professor Chiung Wi-vun introduced promising institutions for future cooperation with the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies. He expressed deep interest in the 2+2 joint program and the student and postgraduate exchange program. Following this, Associate Professor Huynh Ngoc Thu emphasized that the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies always prioritizes collaborative training and creates favorable conditions for international students to study at the Faculty. The Faculty of Vietnamese Studies always welcomes universities from around the world to cooperate in teaching Vietnamese and promoting the image, country, culture, and people of Vietnam.
