Notice of Student Exchange Program Regarding Student Exchange Program with Kansai University, Japan, Fall Semester 2025

The school would like to inform the faculties about the student exchange program with Kansai University, Japan, fall semester 2025, as follows:
1. Application requirements
- Students from the second year and above with good academic performance or above;
- Have Japanese proficiency level N2 or above if studying a program in Japanese or English proficiency level GTEC 260, TOEFL ITP 505, TOEFL iBT 60, TOEIC 580, IELTS 5.0, CEFR B1 or above if studying a program in English (some study programs will have specific requirements for foreign language certificates, please see the attached file for detailed information).
2. Time (expected)
- 01 semester (fall semester): September 2025 - March 2026;
- 01 academic year: September 2025 - September 2026;
- Students can choose to exchange for 01 semester or 01 academic year.
3. Cost
Students participating in the exchange program are exempted from tuition fees and must pay for other expenses themselves.
4. Number
Each faculty nominates a maximum of 02 students.
5. Curriculum
- Global Frontier and Skill Up for Studying Abroad courses: taught entirely in English for Japanese and international students:
+ Global Frontier includes 8 modules (including: interdisciplinary approach to sustainability, Japan studies, language of instruction and communication, geopolitical studies, social science research and understanding of diversity and integration, etc.) to help develop global skills;
+ Skill Up for Studying Abroad: improve English skills.
- Courses for international students: taught in Japanese including Japanese language courses and courses on Japanese culture, Japanese in business, etc.;
- Specialized courses: taught in Japanese. Exchange students with good Japanese proficiency (after passing the Japanese placement test) can register for specialized courses at other faculties of Kansai University, helping students improve their Japanese proficiency as well as learn specialized knowledge in various fields.
6. Application documents
- ID photo;
- Copy of valid passport main page;
- Student confirmation in English;
- Transcript in English;
- Health certificate (according to form);
- Recommendation letter (according to form);
- Application for participation in the exchange program (according to form);
- Foreign language certificate as required;
- Dormitory registration form if there is a need to stay in a dormitory (according to form).
