On the morning of April 11, 2025, at the invitation of the Consulate General of the Lao PDR in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Nguyen Huynh Lam, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, representing the Faculty Board, visited and extended congratulations for the 2025 traditional Bunpimay festival.
In the warm atmosphere of the holiday, Dr. Nguyen Huynh Lam extended wishes for health, happiness, and success to Mr. Phonesy Bounmixay, Consul General; Mr. Lonphanh Phaodavanh, Consul in charge of education, and all officials and staff of the Consulate General.
On the same afternoon, Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong, Deputy Dean, and Dr. Phan Thanh Tam, Chair of the Faculty Trade Union and Head of the Department of Vietnamese Linguistics and Teaching Methodology, also visited and extended Tet greetings to Lao students currently studying at the Ho Chi Minh City University Preparatory School.
This activity demonstrates the close friendship between the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies, the Consulate General, and Lao students in Vietnam, while contributing to strengthening the friendly relations between Vietnam and Laos.
