Announcement of student exchange program for fall semester 2025 at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Korea

The school would like to inform the faculties of the 2025 Fall Semester Student Exchange Program at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS), Korea, as follows:

1. Time: From September 1, 2025 to December 19, 2025.

2. Number: According to the request of Ho Chi Minh City National University (VNU-HCM), the school will nominate up to 03 qualified students. The selection results will be announced by VNU-HCM later.

3. Support from the program:

- Full tuition;

- Intensive Korean language program (program scholarship and partial discount according to program conditions);

- Cultural exchange activities;

- Buddy Program;

- Opportunity to receive the "Peer Tutoring Language Scholarship".

4. Requirements:
- Full-time students, have completed at least 01 semester;
- GPA score of at least 2.5/4 (or equivalent);
- Foreign language proficiency:
+ For English courses: students must meet 01 of the following conditions: IELTS certificate ≥ 6.0; TOEFL certificate: TOEFL ITP ≥ 550, TOEFL CBT ≥ 213 or TOEFL iBT ≥ 80; TOEIC certificate ≥ 750; letter of confirmation of English proficiency from a professor at the university;

+ For Korean courses: students must meet one of the following conditions: TOPIK level 3 certificate or higher; KLAT 150+ (B2) certificate; 15 hours of study (from 04 to 05 classes) of university-level Korean courses (e.g. Korean 101, 102, 201, 202, 30L); HUFS's intensive Korean level 4 program; confirmation letter of Korean proficiency from a professor at the university.

5. Application documents:
- 01 essay introducing yourself and your study plan (in English or Korean);
- 01 transcript (original in English or notarized English translation);
- 01 student confirmation letter from the School (in English or notarized English translation);
- 01 copy of English certificate or recommendation letter;
- 01 photocopy of the personal information page of the passport;

- 01 3x4cm photo with white background;
- 01 intensive Korean language essay (minimum 01 page) (only applicable to students registering for the Intensive Korean Language Program);
- 01 dormitory registration form (if students register for dormitory);
- 01 health certificate certified by a doctor (if students register for dormitory).
Note:
- When submitting the application, students should keep a soft copy of the application to submit the application online to HUFS when nominated;
- Students prepare financial proof in case of receiving a scholarship and submit it to HUFS when requested.
