The school received an invitation from the United Board (UB) to participate in the ADL-UB 2025 Learning Exchange Program with the theme: "Designing for Content, Coach and Community in an Age of Disruption". ADL is an initiative of the Ateneo Science and Arts of Teaching and Learning Institute (SALT Institute) of the Gokongwei Brothers School of Education and Learning Design (GBSEALD). This online course was developed to train Ateneo faculty in the transition to online teaching. The first ADL-UB Learning Exchange 2025 conference was held to celebrate the partnership between the United Board and GBSEALD. It was an opportunity to share and learn about how ADL principles have been adapted and applied in different contexts, and to reflect on the challenges and opportunities in continuing to implement these principles in the present and future.The conference theme highlights one of the core principles of ADL: Content, Coach and Community are the three key elements in effective online/blended learning:
- Content: Design and promote lively, engaging interactions between learners and lecture content;
- Coach: Design and support meaningful interactions between learners and instructors;
- Community: Facilitate shared learning opportunities among students.
The conference will feature Fr. Johnny Go, SJ, Founding Principal of GBSEALD delivering the keynote address on the topic: "Shaping the Future of ADL in the Age of Generative AI".
