Announcement of student exchange program with Kanda University of International Studies, spring semester 2026

The school would like to inform the faculties about the student exchange program with Kanda University of International Studies, spring semester 2026 as follows:
1. Curriculum
- Curriculum 1: Japanese Language and Culture.
Students participate in courses at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​or the Faculty of Global Liberal Arts in the following forms:
+ Form 1: Japanese Language and Culture program, requiring Japanese proficiency from JLPT N5 or higher;
+ Form 2: Japanese Language and Culture program and subjects taught in English, requiring good English proficiency (TOEIC L&R 600, TOEFL iBT 54, TOEFL PBT 480 or IELTS 4.5 or higher);

+ Form 3: Japanese Language and Culture program and subjects taught in Japanese, requiring Japanese proficiency at JLPT N1 and level 6 or Japanese level 7.
- Program 2: courses taught in English at the Faculty of Foreign Languages ​​or the Faculty of Global Liberal Arts, requiring good English proficiency (TOEIC L&R 600, TOEFL iBT 54, TOEFL PBT 480 or IELTS 4.5 or higher).
2. Time (expected)
- Spring semester: March 2026 - July 2026;
- Fall semester: September 2026 - January 2027.
Note:

- Students studying Program 1 can choose to exchange for 1 or 2 semesters, students studying Program 2 can only exchange for 1 semester (spring semester);
- Students studying Program 1 can choose Program 2 in the second semester (in case students exchange for 2 semesters).
3. Cost
Students are exempted from tuition fees and pay all other expenses themselves.
4. Number
Each faculty can nominate up to 1 student.
5. Conditions
- Full-time students from year 2 or above, with good academic performance; students who do not graduate during the program;
- Students who have achieved the Japanese or English proficiency required by the program.

6. Application documents
- Japanese or English language certificate;
- Passport copy (not notarized);
- ID photo;
- Transcripts (in English) of all semesters;
- Financial proof.
The remaining forms will be sent to the applicant by Kanda University of International Studies after the applicant is officially nominated by the School.

The school requests that faculties widely publicize the Program so that students can know and register to participate. The nomination letter and application documents (hard and soft copies) should be sent to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Scientific Management (Room B.005) and email address: era@hcmussh.edu.vn before 16:00 on September 15, 2025 (Monday).
