Exciting Library Festival accompanying VNUHCM students, 10th edition - 2025: Sharing – Connecting – Promoting system strength

     On October 11, 2025, at An Giang University, VNUHCM hosted the Festival "Library accompanying Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City students, 10th edition - 2025", with the theme "Sharing – Connecting – Promoting system strength". The event was organized by the VNUHCM Central Library in collaboration with the An Giang University Library and member libraries within the VNUHCM Library System.

    This is a typical annual activity of the Library System, demonstrating the spirit of cooperation, sharing, and spreading knowledge – the core values that help member universities develop sustainably.

   In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tri, Vice President in charge of An Giang University (AGU) stated: "The festival is not only an academic exchange activity but also a festival of knowledge and creativity – where students across the entire VNUHCM system come together to share, connect, and promote the power of knowledge. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for member libraries to interact, exchange models, solutions, and initiatives, and work together to build a smart, interconnected Library System that effectively serves the learning community."

    This year's festival offered many diverse activities such as: Honoring active readers, awarding the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador contest, organizing the Ringing the Golden Bell contest, along with cultural and culinary spaces typical of the Southwest region in general and An Giang province in particular, attracting the participation of many students.

    In particular, the "Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang Cultural Space" with impressive 3D virtual reality projection technology provided a fresh experience, helping students access historical knowledge through modern technology.

   Besides that, the thematic report "Connecting knowledge, breaking through creativity with AI" presented by MSc. Huynh Viet Trung (Informatics Center, AGU) provided students with much practical knowledge about the role of artificial intelligence in learning and research – from effective prompt writing skills to AI applications in creating illustrations, helping students study more effectively in the digital age.

   With the message "Sharing – Connecting – Promoting system strength", the Festival "Library accompanying VNUHCM students 2025" not only connects the library network across the entire system but also contributes to building a smart, dynamic, and creative learning environment.
