Announcement on student exchange program with Myongji University, South Korea for the Spring 2026 semester
Dear students,
The Faculty would like to announce the information regarding the student exchange program with Myongji University, South Korea for the Spring 2026 semester as follows:
1. Eligibility
- Full-time undergraduate students from the second year onwards with a good academic standing or higher;
- Students with an IELTS score of 5.5, TOEFL (iBT) of 70, TOEIC of 750, or CET6 of 480 or higher if pursuing the English-taught program, or a TOPIK 3 certificate or higher if pursuing the Korean-taught program;
- Students must commit to not graduating during the program duration.
2. Duration (tentative)
- Spring semester: from March 2026 to June 2026;
- Fall semester: from August 2026 to December 2026;
- Students can choose to participate for 01 or 02 semesters.
3. Costs
Students are exempted from tuition fees when participating in the program and must cover all other expenses.
4. Quantity
Each faculty may nominate a maximum of 02 students.
5. Curriculum
- For the Korean-taught program, students can take courses on Korean Language (grammar, reading comprehension, applications, etc.) and Contemporary Korean History for foreigners;
- For the English-taught program, students take courses in majors such as: Political Science and Diplomacy, Digital Communication, Public Administration, Business Administration and International Trade, Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Semiconductor Science and Information & Communication Technology, Integrated Software Technology (students access the link https://camu.mju.ac.kr/eng/ to view information about courses and instructors).
6. Application documents
- Online application form (students will fill out the form once nominated by the University);
- Copy of passport (valid for at least 01 year from the end date of the exchange program);
- Consent letter from a legal guardian (using the template);
- Study plan in English (using a free-form template);
- Official transcripts for all semesters (in English);
- Student status confirmation (in English, consular legalized);
- Copy of valid language proficiency certificate;
- Financial proof document (proving an amount of 8,000 USD/01 semester or 16,000 USD/02 semesters). Financial proof documents must be in the name of the student or their legal guardian;
- Proof of relationship with the legal guardian (in case the aforementioned financial proof is in the name of the legal guardian);
- 02 ID photos sized 3.5x4.5 cm.
7. Notes
- There is no dormitory available at the Seoul campus;
- Do not register for courses on the same day at two different campuses (Seoul and Yongin) as the travel time between the two locations is approximately 04 hours;
- The student activity fee is 130,000 KRW, which is mandatory for all exchange students.
