Announcement of the National Scientific Seminar "Security - Political Dialogue in the Indo-Pacific Region in 2025 and Forecasts"
In implementation of the development orientation for scientific research activities and branding of the annual research forum for the International Relations academic community in Vietnam, the Faculty of History and International Relations, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNUHCM) organizes a National Scientific Seminar themed "Security - Political Dialogue in the Indo-Pacific Region in 2025 and Forecasts".
The seminar is held to create a reputable academic forum to summarize prominent international relations issues in 2025 related to the fields of International Security and International Politics. Specifically, the forum will delve into analyzing the strategy and foreign policy of major powers such as the United States, India, and Russia in the region; simultaneously evaluating Vietnam's policy adjustments amid the US-China competition, viewed through the lens of Hedging theory. Thereby, it aims to provide future scenarios for the regional security structure and to position Vietnam's strategy in the new security environment.
The event will feature the participation of reputable experts and scholars in the field of International Relations, thereby forming a multidimensional and in-depth academic exchange forum. At the same time, this is an opportunity to systematically review the overall picture of 2025, serving as a scientific basis for analyzing and forecasting the strategic movement trends of the region in the next period.
