Short-term Internship Trip at Universiti Putra Malaysia for German as Foreign Language Students (Excellent Programm)

A Memorable Internship Trip of the 2022 Cohort Students of the High-Quality German Studies Program, Majoring in German Language Teaching Methodology 
The internship program of students from the 2022–2026 cohort of the German Language major, Faculty of European Languages and Cultures, has officially concluded after five days of learning and practical experiences in Malaysia. The program took place from May 4, 2026 to May 8, 2026, with internship activities conducted at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Malaya (UM), and the German International School Kuala Lumpur (DSKL).
Throughout the program, students of the German Language major had the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies in a practical environment through academic exchange activities, classroom observations, workshop participation, and cultural exchange with lecturers and international students. These practical experiences not only helped students enhance their professional competence, language proficiency, and teamwork skills, but also provided them with opportunities to gain deeper insights into the educational environment, culture, and student life in Malaysia.
In particular, the warm and thoughtful hospitality from lecturers and students of Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Malaya left a profound impression on the delegation of German Language students. Through the learning and exchange activities, students from both sides had the opportunity to connect, share academic experiences, and strengthen their mutual understanding of each other’s cultures.
The Faculty of European Languages and Cultures would like to express its sincere gratitude to Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Malaya for their support and for creating favorable conditions that contributed to the successful implementation of the internship program. We wish the cooperative relationship between the universities continued sustainable development and hope for more meaningful academic and cultural exchange programs in the future.
