Pony Chung Scholarship Program 2025-2026

Based on Official Letter No. 1795/ĐHQG-CTSV dated August 18, 2025, from the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City regarding the Pony Chung Scholarship Program for the 2025-2026 academic year, the University announces the implementation of the scholarship program as follows: - Number of scholarships: 5 scholarships (undergraduate) and 1 scholarship (postgraduate) - Scholarship value: 600 USD/scholarship. - Eligibility requirements: Undergraduate level: + Full-time students in their third or fourth year; + Academic results for the 2024-2025 academic year must be excellent (8.0 or higher), and conduct score of 80 or higher; + Actively participate in scientific research and extracurricular activities; + Has not received any other scholarship funding in the 2025-2026 academic year. Priority: + Final-year students intending to pursue a Master's degree at Korea University (South Korea) immediately after graduation (with an international language certificate: TOEFL 550, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent); + Third-year students in the Korean Studies Department, if awarded this scholarship, will be nominated to participate in a short-term Korean language and culture study program at Korea University (South Korea) sponsored by the Pony Chung Foundation. Graduate Program + Second-year graduate students in full-time programs; + Ensuring successful completion of all modules according to the training schedule; + Having scientific research projects; + Having difficult economic circumstances and needing financial support to complete the course; + Has not received any other scholarship funding in the 2025-2026 academic year. - Application Documents + Academic and Training Results: Undergraduate level: transcript and training results for the 2024-2025 academic year (certified); Postgraduate level: evaluation of academic progress (issued by the Faculty or Postgraduate Office), published scientific research. + Certified copy of poverty/near-poverty/difficult circumstances certificate (if any); + Certified copy of international foreign language certificate; + Certificates of merit, awards for academic achievements, scientific research, and extracurricular activities (if any). The University requests that faculties announce and nominate students who meet the criteria for this scholarship. Faculties should send the nomination letter along with the student's scholarship application documents to the Student Affairs Office before 11:00 AM on August 29, 2025.
