Never Give Up Talent Development Scholarship Program

Based on the announcement dated October 26, 2024, from the University of Technology - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City regarding the Never Give Up scholarship program for talented students, the University is implementing the scholarship program as follows: - Scholarship Value + Gold Scholarship: VND 30,000,000/year; + Platinum Scholarship: VND 50,000,000/year; + Diamond Scholarship: VND 100,000,000/year. - Eligibility Requirements + Gold Scholarship: Cumulative GPA of 8.5/10 and cumulative training score of 90/100; + Platinum Scholarship: Cumulative GPA of 9.0/10, authorship of a scientific paper published in an international journal (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4), and cumulative training score of 90/100; + Diamond Scholarship: The top student on the selection list will receive the Diamond Scholarship. - Application Documents + Personal statement: Students are required to introduce themselves (Full name, student ID, major, email, phone number, etc.), their academic background, reasons for applying for the scholarship, and future plans, etc. (maximum 1000 words, can be written in English or handwritten). This is a very important part for the Board to select talented and outstanding candidates to award the scholarship; + 4 photos 4x6 (taken within the last 6 months, write the student's full name and school name on the back of each photo); + Curriculum vitae with confirmation from the local authority or school; + Documents proving eligibility from a family with meritorious service to the country (notarized copies); + Transcript certified by the school (use original or notarized photocopy, not just a photocopy). For first-year students, submit proof of winning an international Olympic competition; + Certificate of cumulative academic performance; + Foreign language certificate: IELTS score of at least 6.5 or equivalent TOEFL iBT (if available, notarized copy); + Certificates of merit or awards from relevant ministries or agencies (if available, notarized copy); + Certificates of participation in extracurricular activities and social work (if available, notarized copy); + Abstracts of research published in specialized scientific journals (if available). + Students can apply for scholarships at the following link: https://by.com.vn/scholar_info Students submit scholarship applications to their respective faculties. Faculties will then send nomination letters along with the students' scholarship applications to the Student Affairs Office before 11:00 AM on November 6, 2024.
