Based on Proposal No. 276/TTr-CTSV, dated November 7, 2025, submitted by the Office of Student Affairs, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), regarding financial assistance for first-year students facing financial hardship through the Study Promotion and Talent Development Program, the University announces the scholarship program as follows:
Number of Scholarships
A total of 64 scholarships will be awarded.
For the Vietnamese Studies program:
- Vietnamese Studies: 01 scholarship
Scholarship Value
- VND 5,000,000 per scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be a first-year full-time undergraduate student.
- Be in financial hardship, such as:
- belonging to a poor or near-poor household;
- possessing an official certificate confirming financial hardship; or
- having a family severely affected by natural disasters or floods.
- Have achieved at least a Good academic standing during high school.
- Have not received any other scholarships sponsored by organizations or individuals during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following:
- Personal Information Form (download the template);
- High school academic transcript;
- Certificate confirming financial hardship;
- Certificates or awards for academic or extracurricular achievements (if applicable).
Submission Deadline
Faculties are requested to inform eligible students and nominate qualified candidates for this scholarship.
Nomination letters together with students' application documents must be submitted to the Office of Student Affairs no later than 11:30 a.m. on November 28, 2025.
