Announcement regarding the student exchange program with Kanda University of International Studies, Japan for the Spring 2027 semester

The University notifies faculties of the student exchange program with Kanda University of International Studies, Japan for the Spring 2027 semester as follows:

1. Timeline (tentative)
- Spring semester: March 2027 - July 2028;
- Fall semester: September 2027 - January 2027.
Note:
- Students in Program 1 may choose to exchange for 01 or 02 semesters, while students in Program 2 may only exchange for 01 semester (spring semester);
- Students in Program 1 may choose Program 2 for the second semester (in case of a 02-semester exchange).
2. Requirements
- Full-time students from their second year onwards, with good academic standing;
- Students must not graduate during the program period;
- Students must meet the Japanese and English language proficiency requirements of the program.
3. Academic Program
- Program 1:
+ Option 1: Japanese Language and Culture Program courses, requiring Japanese proficiency from JLPT N5 or higher;
+ Option 2: Undergraduate courses taught in Japanese, requiring Japanese proficiency at JLPT N1 and level 6, or Japanese proficiency level 7;
+ Option 2: Undergraduate courses taught in English, requiring good English proficiency (TOEIC L&R 600, TOEFL iBT 54, TOEFL PBT 480 or IELTS 4.5 or higher).
- Program 2: courses taught in English at the Department of Foreign Languages or the Faculty of Global Liberal Arts, requiring good English proficiency (TOEIC L&R 600, TOEFL iBT 54, TOEFL PBT 480 or IELTS 4.5 or higher).
4. Costs
Students are exempt from tuition fees and must cover all other costs themselves.
5. Quantity
Each faculty may nominate 01 student.
6. Application Dossier

- Information form (attached);
- Appropriate Japanese or English language certificate;
- Copy of passport;
- ID photo;
- Official transcript (in English) for all semesters;
- Financial proof documents.

Remaining forms will be sent by Kanda University of International Studies to candidates after they are officially nominated by the University.

Note: 

- Students submit their applications to their faculties for the faculties to prepare nomination dispatches and forward the dossiers to the External Relations and Science Management Department;
- Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be considered invalid.
