2. Educational Objectives
2.1. General objective: To train high-quality human resources with political and moral qualities and community awareness to serve the country's development and international integration; to provide a solid and systematic foundation of knowledge in social sciences and humanities, and International Studies; to develop the ability to apply knowledge in researching transnational, regional, and global issues; to develop leadership and organizational skills; and to foster the ability to use and communicate in foreign languages to meet the needs of regional and global integration.
2.2. Specific objectives
Graduates of International Studies possess knowledge, skills, autonomy, and responsibility, specifically:
Knowledge:
- Master fundamental knowledge of social sciences and humanities; understand political, economic, social, and cultural systems of countries and regions worldwide; possess basic knowledge of contemporary international issues. [PO1]
- Possess in-depth knowledge and master scientific research methods in the field of International Studies, including international relations, international economics, international law, and international culture. [PO2]
Skills:
- Possess skills in searching, collecting, and analyzing information from various sources; analyze and evaluate international issues logically, objectively, and scientifically; forecast world development trends; and proficiently use foreign languages and research tools to produce scientific reports. [PO3]
- Possess intercultural communication skills (in both Vietnamese and English) and the ability to work effectively in teams. [PO4]
Autonomy and Responsibility:
- Capable of self-study, research, and working independently. [PO5]
- Capable of adapting to multicultural working environments and possessing a sense of responsibility for one's work. [PO6]
