Knowledge

1. General knowledge: Grasp and apply the basic Marxist-Leninist theory, Ho Chi Minh’s thought; grasp the basic knowledge of the fields of politics, economy, society, culture and thought.

2. Foundation knowledge: Grasp, apply theory and research methods of historical science; analyze and evaluate historical issues/events in Vietnamese history, world history, the history of the Vietnamese Communist Party.

3. Specialized knowledge: Grasp and apply proficient knowledge of Vietnamese history in professional work.

4. Interdisciplinary knowledge: Mastering knowledge about world, regional history, globalization and international integration.

Skills

1. Professional reasoning skills: Master the process of researching historical issues (collecting, document processing, evaluating, selecting facts, compiling history); Self-study, time management and self-control skills.

2. The ability to reason, think and solve problems: Form and develop critical skills in social historical problems; Have skills in communication, presentation and problem presentation.

3. Ability to research and discover knowledge: have skills to analyze, synthesize, and explain scientific and practical problems; can use foreign languages, be fluent in basic office informatics.

4. Ability to apply historical knowledge in solving practical problems. Skills in organization, teamwork, management and leadership.
