
On the afternoon of April 24, the Talkshow Prevention of sexual harassment for "butterFLY" students of the Union of Students of the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM was held at the 3rd floor Hall, Student Culture House - Urban area VNU-HCM. Talkshow had the participation of three speakers: Psychologist Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh - Working at Saigon Psychology Department (Saigon Psychub); Dr. Pham Hong Gia Nguyen - Doctor of Internal Medicine at the Department of General Internal Medicine, Saigon South International General Hospital; Dr. Le Anh Vu - Lecturer in social work at Thu Dau Mot University; Special Guest Dr. Khuat Thu Hong - Director of the Institute for Social Development Research, PhD in psychology, research expert on gender, sexuality, sexual health and HIV/AIDS. Talkshow wishes to raise awareness for students about sexual harassment prevention. At the same time, creating a close space for students to easily share stories and personal views. Through the experience and knowledge of veteran speakers, it will help to deal with psychological difficulties as well as how to respond if you encounter cases of sexual harassment.
The program is divided into 4 parts according to the names of four butterfly species: Hedylidae, Atala, Swallowtails, Monarch according to each butterfly's characteristics, representing the four stages of changing emotional processes, knowledge learned in Talkshow. Through two sociological perspectives, the Psychology of Sexual Harassment helps students have a better overview of the issue of sexual harassment.
