Speaker: Dr. Trần Sơn Hải
● Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
● Dr. Tran Son Hai has participated in the development of a number of international projects, including research collaboration with the Harvard University team and participation in the Xfinity Home Security (XHS) project of Comcast Corporation in the United States.
● In addition to his role as a lecturer, he also contributes to the research field and provides solution consulting for many technology organizations in Ho Chi Minh City such as Kyanon, CyberTeh, AIPower and Eton.

The explosion of information technology and the development of artificial intelligence (AI) have had a lot of significant impacts on teaching and learning, requiring both lecturers and students to develop a useful awareness of AI applications. This presentation focuses on three main aspects: a general introduction to AI in instructional design, the accessibility and application of AI in research design, and the assessment rules in using AI. Through this, the presentation emphasizes the necessity of developing and applying AI in a reasonable and ethical manner to maximize benefits for both students and lecturers.
