Sociology Students Express Patriotism through the Activity “Letters from the Frontline”

As part of the initiative “The Homeland Seen from the Sea”, the Youth Union of the Faculty of Sociology, University of Social Sciences and Humanities – VNU-HCM, has launched a meaningful activity titled “Letters from the Frontline”. This interactive platform invites students to share their heartfelt thoughts and reflections on the importance of protecting the nation's maritime sovereignty.

With over four thousand islands scattered across the sea, Vietnam’s coastline has stood resilient for thousands of years. The waves never rest, and day and night, dedicated officers and soldiers stand guard at the country's frontlines. The “Letters from the Frontline” activity serves not only as a space for emotional expression but also as a bridge of gratitude — connecting the youth with those who quietly defend the homeland. Through this initiative, the program encourages a greater sense of civic responsibility and national pride among the younger generation.

Students can participate by writing and posting letters, thoughts, or pictures on the Padlet wall at https://go.shome.edu.vn/16V. For those who wish to personalize their images, a creative photo frame tool is available at https://go.shome.edu.vn/x9M.
