On the afternoon of April 11, 2026, the regional finals of the "Gấm vóc non sông" competition took place at the Faculty of Literature Hall, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM. This academic competition was jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi. The judging panel included Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong, Deputy Head of the Department of Vietnamese Studies. During the competition, he provided insightful feedback to the top 6 contestants, helping them improve their understanding of Vietnamese culture and prepare for the next round. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong's participation in the competition contributed to the stronger dissemination of the unique values of Vietnamese culture, fostering national pride, love for the homeland, and an awareness of preserving cultural identity among today's youth. We wish Dr. Nguyen Hoang Phuong good health so that he can continue to accompany, inspire, and contribute to preserving and spreading Vietnamese cultural identity even more widely.
