JAPANESE STUDIES DEPARTMENT MEETS AND WORKS WITH DYM VIETNAM CO., LTD. TO PROMOTE INTERNSHIP AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

On the afternoon of June 12, 2026, representatives from the Japanese Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City met and worked with DYM Vietnam Co., Ltd. at the company's office to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the university and the enterprise.

The meeting was attended by representatives from both sides. On the side of the Japanese Studies Department, there were MSc. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao and MSc. Tran Bao Ngoc. Representing DYM Vietnam Co., Ltd. were Mr. MATSUMOTO Yuki – Director of the Company, Ms. Do Thi Cam Tu – Head of Administration and Human Resources Department, and Ms. Le Thi Ai – Recruitment Specialist.

At the meeting, representatives of the Japanese Studies Department provided an overview of the formation and development process of the Japanese Studies Department, Faculty of Oriental Studies, as well as educational orientations aimed at meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for Japanese enterprises in Vietnam. On the enterprise side, Ms. Do Thi Cam Tu shared about the history, development scale of DYM Vietnam Co., Ltd., and recruitment needs in the near future.

The Japanese Studies Department representatives also expressed their sincere gratitude to DYM Vietnam Co., Ltd. for accompanying the school in training human resources, especially in receiving and guiding students for their three-month internships from May to July 2026. In addition, the Faculty expressed its appreciation for the company's recruitment of many generations of students from the Faculty, including the 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 cohorts, contributing to creating motivation and professional development opportunities for learners after graduation.

Both sides discussed future cooperation orientations, particularly in the fields of recruitment, internships, and career guidance for students. The discussion contents aimed at improving the quality of education while creating conditions for students to access a practical working environment from the time they are still in school.
