The University informs all units about the Cultural Scholarship Program for non-Kuwaiti residents in 2026. Details are as follows:
- Priority target group: The scholarship focuses on supporting students from Muslim minority communities abroad.
- Scholarship objectives: To support education and enhance scientific capacity and knowledge for students from friendly countries.
- Conditions: Based on international admission requirements from previous years by the Government of Kuwait, candidates need to meet the following conditions
+ Age: Generally not over 35 years old (or under 21 years old for certain specific undergraduate programs);
+ Graduation time: High school diploma obtained no more than 02 years prior to the application date;
+ Passport validity: Passport must be valid for at least 02 years;
+ Legalization of documents: All transcripts and degrees must be certified by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the host country, and the Kuwaiti Embassy in the host country. Documents not in English or Arabic must be translated and notarized;
+ Medical certificate: Must be free from dangerous infectious diseases (such as Hepatitis B, C, HIV, Tuberculosis, etc.).
- Selected students will be sponsored to study at Kuwait University and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training of Kuwait.
- Application deadline: Until July 11, 2026.
- Application method: Candidates submit applications directly through the electronic portal of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
