FACULTY OF ORIENTAL STUDIES RECEIVES AND WORKS WITH THE DELEGATION OF PROFESSORS FROM TAMKANG UNIVERSITY (TAIWAN, CHINA)
Recently, at 09:00 on June 15, 2026, at the Saigon campus, the Faculty of Oriental Studies held a formal reception and working session with a delegation of professors from Tamkang University (Taiwan, China). The meeting opened up many prospects for academic and educational cooperation between the two units in the near future.
Attending the working session, on the side of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, there was the presence of:
+ Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Hong Xuan – Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies
+ MA. Le Dang Thao Uyen – Head of Australian Studies Section
On the side of Tamkang University, the delegation included professors and senior experts from the Department of International Relations, with a research orientation focusing on regional studies and multilateral cooperation.
At the working session, representatives of the two sides introduced an overview of the development history, training strengths, and strategic research orientations of each unit. Based on many similarities in the orientation of internationalizing education, the two sides discussed in depth the possibility of expanding connections and establishing specific bilateral cooperation programs in the future, such as faculty and student exchange.
The meeting took place in a formal and open atmosphere. The results of this working session promise to be a starting milestone for effective cooperation programs, contributing to enhancing the position and international training quality of the Faculty of Oriental Studies in the new phase.
The connection session concluded successfully at noon on the same day; representatives of the two units took commemorative photos and exchanged meaningful gifts, affirming the sustainable friendly relationship.
