Full Scholarship Program for Students with Special Difficulties and Disabilities in the 2025-2026 Academic Year
Following the full scholarship program for students of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) with special difficulties and disabilities in the 2024-2025 academic year, the VNU-HCM Development Fund (DDF) has discussed with sponsors and plans to implement a full scholarship program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The university provides the following information about the scholarship program: - Eligibility and Scholarship Criteria: + Full-time students currently enrolled at the University; + Students with disabilities, orphans (either father or mother deceased), or those without parental support; + Students from families facing exceptional economic hardship, or families classified as near-poor/poor households in their local area of residence; + Academic results of 7.0 or higher in the 2024-2025 academic year; + Not having received any other scholarships from other organizations in the 2025-2026 academic year. - Full scholarship value: + First-year students: 50,000,000 VND/scholarship (Fifty million Vietnamese Dong). + Second-year students: 30,000,000 VND/scholarship (Thirty million Vietnamese Dong). + Third-year students: 20,000,000 VND/scholarship (Twenty million Vietnamese Dong). + Final-year students: 10,000,000 VND/scholarship (Ten million Vietnamese Dong). - Scholarship application documents include: + Students register online at: https://by.com.vn/scholar_info + A handwritten letter outlining the circumstances, certified by the parents or legal guardian; + Photocopies of the student ID card and student card; + Documents proving eligibility (disability, poverty/near-poverty household registration book - photocopy; certificate of family circumstances from the local authority - original); + Transcript for the 2024-2025 academic year (with the school's stamp); for first-year students, submit a copy of the admission notice and enrollment notification; + Certificates, diplomas, and awards for extracurricular activities, movements, and other academic achievements (photocopies). * Note: The handwritten letter outlining the circumstances must clearly state two parts: the first part includes student information and contact information, and the second part describes the family circumstances. All documents should be placed in a file folder and clearly marked: “Application for Full Scholarship”. Students wishing to apply for the scholarship should submit their application as requested to the Faculty office for review. The university requests that faculties announce and nominate one student who meets the criteria for this scholarship. Faculties should send the nomination letter along with the student's scholarship application to the Student Affairs Office before 11:30 AM on April 3rd, 2026.
