The University informs the faculties about the DiscoverNUS program of the National University of Singapore as follows:
1. General information
The DiscoverNUS program provides opportunities for students from partner universities of the National University of Singapore (NUS) in Southeast Asia to study for 01 semester at NUS. Students who complete the program have the opportunity to apply for the NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship Programme.
2. Time and location
From August 2026 to December 2026 at NUS, Singapore.
3. Scholarship value
- Students are exempted from tuition fees for the program at NUS and are provided with partial accommodation cost support depending on the student's financial situation (successful candidates wishing to apply for financial accommodation support need to contact NUS directly for guidance);
- Students are responsible for other expenses;
- After completing the program, in their final year of undergraduate study, students can apply for the 01-year master's scholarship program at NUS - NUS ASEAN Master’s Scholarship Programme.
4. Quantity
Each faculty may nominate a maximum of 02 students.
5. Eligibility requirements
- Currently a fourth-year or third-year student during the exchange period at NUS, with preference given to third-year students;
- Excellent academic performance in high school and university, with preference given to those with awards and scholarships in high school and university;
- Actively participate in extracurricular activities and community service;
- Demonstrate leadership potential;
- Proficiency in English is preferred (IELTS certificate of 6.0 or higher or TOEFL iBT of 85 or higher);
- Interested in pursuing a master's program at NUS after participating in the program;
- Commitment to participate fully in the program.
6. Application documents
- 01 English curriculum vitae (CV) in PDF format with a size of less than 3MB, presenting full information as follows (refer to the attached NUS CV Guide file):
+ Education level including high school name and GPA, university name and current GPA;
+ Work, leadership, and volunteer experience;
+ Extracurricular activities (clubs, sports activities...);
+ Academic awards or scholarships at high school, university (if any);
+ English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS);
+ Other necessary information such as: foreign languages, special talents... (if any).
- 01 student information form (as per template);
- 01 Vietnamese transcript and 01 English transcript latest within 30 days as of March 6, 2026;
- 01 copy of passport's personal information page (not notarized);
- 01 copy of English proficiency certificate (not notarized);
- Proof of extracurricular activities and community service;
- Proof of academic achievements;
- Proof of family financial situation (if applying for financial accommodation support).
