The University announces the 9th SUN - PHOCOS Photo Contest 2025-2026 as follows:
1. General Information:
PHOCOS is an international photography contest held annually to promote cultural exchange and enhance mutual understanding by celebrating the cultural and heritage diversity of countries along the Silk Roads.
2. Theme:
Taste of the Silk Roads: Food, Table, and Culture Shared along the Silk Roads.
3. Prizes and Financial Support:
Winning contestants will be invited to attend the 11th SUN General Assembly in Algeria with accommodation, meal, and travel expenses supported according to each prize category, including:
- 01 Grand Prize;
- 02 Excellence Awards;
- 05 Special Selection Awards;
- 10 Encouragement Awards.
4. Participants:
Students currently studying at member universities of the Silk-Road Universities Network (SUN).
5. Timeline:
- Submission deadline: 23:59 (GST), August 31, 2026;
- Result announcement: September 21, 2026.
