[ANNOUNCEMENT] Call for AsTEN Journal Editor-in-Chief

Your Excellencies:

Greetings from the AsTEN Secretariat!

We are announcing the re-opening of the call for the nomination of the new Editor-in-Chief
(EIC) of the AsTEN Journal of Teacher Education for 2026 onwards. The AsTEN Journal is a peer-refereed, SCOPUS-indexed, bi-annually published journal focused on relevant and emerging topics and issues in teacher education within the ASEAN region.

To learn about the responsibilities of the AsTEN Journal EIC, please see the attached Terms
of Reference.

The criteria for the selection of the Editor-in-Chief are the following:

• experience in editorial work;
• experience in publishing own work;
• proficient in English;
• has post-graduate qualifications; and
• endorsed by own Institution’s President/Rector.

We request you to disseminate this call to interested faculty/researchers. They should submit
the following requirements to the AsTEN Secretariat:

1. Letter of Intent addressed to the AsTEN Chairperson (Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Phuong Lan);
2. Curriculum Vitae with a list of relevant publication history and experience in editorial work; and
3. Letter of Recommendation from the Institution’s President/Rector.
