[IMPORTANT] CALL FOR AsTEN MEMBERSHIP

Dear Members of the Board of Trustees,

Greetings from the Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN)!

As agreed during the 20th Meeting of Presidents (MoP), the approval of the Proposed Revisions of the AsTEN Membership Guidelines and Process, the AsTEN Secretariat respectfully informs the Board that the Call for AsTEN Membership is now open.

In this regard, the AsTEN Secretariat requests the esteemed members of the Board of Trustees to initiate the dissemination of the Call for AsTEN Members to qualified Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) within their respective countries, in accordance with the approved guidelines. The AsTEN Membership Guidelines and Process are available on the official AsTEN website (https://www.asten1.org/).

The AsTEN Board Member plays a key role in this process through the issuance of the required Letter of Nomination, which forms part of the documentary requirements for aspiring AsTEN Members.

We respectfully seek the Board’s support in this Call and in guiding interested institutions through the nomination and application process.
