The Philippine Normal University, in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education, Association of Southeast Asian Teacher Education Network (AsTEN), and Cebu Normal University, launches the ASEAN Teacher Education Conference (AsTEC) 2026 and is now officially accepting research abstract submissions.

🌏 Theme: “The ASEAN Teacher Identity: Ensuring Quality Teacher Education in the Digital Era.”

📍 May 14–15, 2026 | Cebu City, Philippines (may potentially be rescheduled on a later date due to the ongoing fuel crisis and the advisory of the Philippine government for agencies to reduce energy and fuel consumption.)

🗓️ Important Dates:

 April 17, 2026 – Deadline for Abstract Submission

 April 30, 2026 – Deadline for Payment
